Navitrom are currently working on Herm and Guernsey.  It is hoped that these will be finished some time during Autumn.  The CD's can be purchased from PC Maritime, or for CI customers only, from one of the CI Key Resellers .  Retail Price is £42.50.

Below is a sample from the CD of Portelet Bay Passage, Jersey

This chart is part of the Approaches to St Helier.  Each route is presented on ARC's charts, as a series of "chartpoints".

This is the route description of the above passage.

An attractive bay, ideal for swimmers with generally clear water. Access from the land is via a long stairway which reduces the beach's popularity. Do not use the Western side of the passage for anchorage due to rocks.
The Passage into Portelet Bay is marked by the Café just closed in by Janvrin's Tomb bearing 010°. Ensure the Café is closed to avoid a drying rock on your starboard side.
Note : Beware of the Portelet Ledge which is awash at Chart Datum (striking mark is the little hut with the green roof in transit with Janvrin Tomb)

These are the two chartpoints that make up the route.  In this example a panoramic and zoomed photo are shown

Each chartpoint photograph has an explanation of what the navigator should be looking at.

To go into Portelet Bay keep the Café just closed by Janvrin's Tomb. Ensure the Café is closed to avoid a drying rock just on the East side of this transit.

ZOOMED as above. Note that for the purposes of the photograph, the Café has been shown open. It must be closed when using this passage to avoid dangers. It is possible to use the life-belt just open of the rock.
