On the Saturday all the officials and competitors moved to the Five Mile Road for the quarter mile sprint.
Rain was threatening but luckily it held off as all competitors had one practice and 5 official runs.
Two records were broken, including the Production Salon record by Christian Ruellan who was appearing in his first speed event for the club and he broke the record on his first ever run. This now stands at 12.74 seconds.
Nick Saunders from Guernsey, fresh from his record the previous day, made it a double and broke the 1995 record in the racing car class upto 600cc. It now stands at 12.89 seconds.
Peter Le Druillenec was quickest in the 601cc to 1100cc racing car class with a time of 11.60 seconds, while Barry Eloie was quickest in the 1101cc to 1600 class in 10.88 seconds.
Christina Holley was quickest in the unlimited class in a time of 11.00 seconds.
Barry and Jodie Moignard who share the Skoda in the Sport Libre class has severe misfire, but Barry still took the class in a time of 11.82 seconds.
Matthew Bougourd in his first ever speed event, took the honours in the rally car class 1601cc to 2000cc but the funniest moment was when Chris Fox in his rally car left the start line, and took the starting choc with him, however he still recorded a great time.
Trevor was the sole competitor in the motorcycles upto 125cc and he best time was 13.14 seconds. Mathew Falloon was quickest 250cc in a time of 12.79 seconds.
In the 501cc class to 750cc class, Andy Simpson was fastest with a time of 11.19 seconds, but Branca Martins, who is the second women to compete in a sprint recorded a best time of 15.50 seconds on her Kawasaki 636cc machine.
Kent Gavey from Guernsey was quickest in the 751cc to 1000cc class in a time of 11.07 seconds, just ahead of Paul Traylen.
Traylen was again featured in the unlimited class and he recorded the fastest time of the day on two wheels on the 1300cc Hayabusa in a time of 10.70 seconds.
